Simple form and effective finish. This is what the jewelry of the new LAU jewelery brand is like, which was recently founded by two friends.

It started out quite classic. Szymon Kaspruś, a craftsman and passionate about creating beautiful objects, made several rings designed by his friend Marta Gajewska. The effect delighted two friends so much that they decided to start a joint brand. This is how LAU jewelery was created – a brand offering jewelry with a simple form and timeless design. 

Design

The brand’s designs combine masculine strength and feminine delicacy. Marta, a fashion lover who loves bustling cities, is responsible for the design part of the activity. Szymon is involved in the production, which is entirely made in Gdynia.

About the Brand

LAU is an acronym created from three words: love , art and urban : –  Because we are motivated by love, we are inspired by art and drives the rhythm of the city – the brand owners say. Signets dominate the LAU jewelery collection. Among them, we find massive models made of silver, as well as gold-plated silver, decorated with opal, onyx and obsidian. Fans of the classics can be attracted by polished or textured signet rings. Signets are accompanied by delicate rings that we can wear several on one finger. The collection also includes necklaces with pendants in the shape of a fashionable moon, spearhead or cross, as well as earrings based on a circle and massive wedding rings.

Scope

Creating a new e-commerce platform based on existing branding. The aim was to give a new breath to the brand using a modern yet elegant layout teamed with the latest tools that a modern market would require. From the advanced filter functionality, gift card and advanced coupons, we made it easy fot LAU Jewellery to manage their marketing campaigns integrating with MailChimp for newsletter,  synching the product catalog for Facebook and Instagram Shops.

Managing the orders has never been that easy with integrating to Furgonetka for the expeditions. A wide variety of shipping companies were made available, including InPost Paczkomat where the user can select delivery points on a map.Payments made simple using Stripe payment gateway as well as local Przelewy24 that not only allows BLIK payments but also a ‘buy now, pay later’ option. Other functionalities include the Wishlist, Account page, Order tracking and customised secured checkout page. Finally, a Cart recovery system was put in place in case a customer abandoned the checkout process, he would be notified by mail 30min later with a link to continue where he left off.
