Who I am
This website, lverbeeck.com, is run by Ludovic Verbeeck, a sole proprietor based in Warsaw, Poland. I build websites, ecommerce stores and web apps. For anything in this policy, I am the data controller and you can reach me at [email protected].
Information I collect
When you submit the contact form, I collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your company name (if you provide it)
- Your message
When you subscribe to the newsletter, I collect your email address only.
I do not collect anything else, and I never collect personal data unless you choose to submit it through one of these forms.
How I use your information
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we start working together, to follow up on it. The legal basis is legitimate interest in answering the message you sent me.
Newsletter emails are used solely to send you occasional notes about AI-first web development. The legal basis is your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. I never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Where your data lives
Form submissions are stored in Orbit, my own client platform, which runs on infrastructure I operate in the European Union. Your data does not pass through a third-party CRM or mailing list provider.
How long I keep your data
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months so I can follow up on ongoing conversations, then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion of either at any time by emailing [email protected].
Analytics
This site uses TrackTrendy, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that I built and operate. It counts visits and page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not store personal identifiers, and does not track you across other websites. Because of this, the site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Hosting and Cloudflare services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network, which provides content delivery and security. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser information to protect against malicious traffic, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Turnstile verifies that submissions come from humans without showing you a CAPTCHA, and may process certain browser signals in accordance with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Poland the UODO (Urzad Ochrony Danych Osobowych)
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If I change how this site handles data, I will update this page and the date at the top. No silent changes.
